This year in July I traveled to Washington state to spend the Independence day weekend (plus a week on either side of it) with family and friends. I'll be organizing the trip into two blog posts. This one will focus on snapshots of family activities as everyone gathered in La Conner (Skagit County) at the home of my sister, Nancy, and her husband, John. The second post will include a few side trips I took to do some "sight-seeing".
