Christmas Holiday 2018

I spent the Christmas holiday this year out in western Washington with family.
Posting a brief "highlight reel" of some memories.

A winter sunset from the house on Golden View Avenue.
Starting with an outing to the Holiday Concert by the Shelter Bay Chorus. My sister, Nancy, is one of the singers.

And June, my Grand-Niece, enjoying the concert!

June and Grandpa John prep the pancake batter for Sunday breakfast.

During the week we experienced a damaging wind storm. My grand-nieces, Hailey and Harper, were there while the waves churned, trees came down and the power went out. But we made the best of it and even played a game of croquet in the front yard while the wind blew all around us.

Another highlight was a trip to the Fidalgo Pool for the recreational swim.
And special time on The WIBIT!

Hailey and Harper---Up and over!

Christmas eve brought more decorating of sugar cookies.

Niece Jane posted a "pick your favorite Christmas cookie" competition on Facebook and Instagram. The competition was fierce!

What could be better that celebrating Oscar's first Christmas.

 Happy New Year to everyone!
